In the past years, a lot of ponds have been shutting down around Farmway at Pasir Ris, Singapore. This is due to the government taking back the land which is leased. As most of these ponds became institutions to everyone it was sad to see them shut down.

Ah Lim's pond is the new gem apart from the giant ponds like D'Best and ORTO's Fishing Paradise.

Singapore has mainly small, medium and large ponds. I would categorise this pond as a medium sized pond in relation to other ponds dotted around Singapore. Aunties Pond for example would be on the small side or smallish.

Quote: Ping Chuin Lim Very tidy, nice facilities.
Even have airhose and buckets for live baits!
Good carpark. Ramp for tugging your icebox, keeper nets for your catches....
They sell bait and food/drinks of course.

The pond is rather wide if you look at the picture below and well aerated.

If you look carefully there is a hose at one of the pipes, excellent for your live bait and also one less thing to bring along.

I have not personally tried the pond out, however from the feedback that I have been receiving it has all been positive and things like the toilets and overall cleanliness is what stands out the most. Also as this place of business has other uses, it is a must the area is kept in tip top condition.

Our pond future is looking up.

Peace Out,
